Rolex Talking Points 1985

Rolex Watch GMTII SubmarinerRolex Talking Points were printed periodically for dealers to use to become familiar with the sales points of Rolex watches. The Talking Points brochures are an expanded version of the Rolex Dealer Cards that provides detailed technical information about Rolex. Although this particular Talking Points brochure was printed in 1985, much of the details revealed are still relevant today.

This particular Talking Points lists the OysterQuartz, nipple dialed Submariners, and the 16760 GMT, all watches that are now discontinued and very collectible.

What is also noteworthy is a message to dealers from Andre Heiniger, who at the time was the Chief Executive and Managing Director of Rolex Geneve, which is as follows:

"Every day, each of you will be in contact with customers that are sometimes difficult but always exacting. I want you to know of my great interest in the work you have shosen to do. This booklet has been written specially to help you understand Rolex watches even better - and particularly to brief you on the technical expertise, which is one reason why Rolex has gained such considerable prestige.

I hope that you will find reading it both useful and enjoyable and that it will help you to make more and more customers familiar with the superiority of a Rolex."
